innovative use of recycled materials, solar electricity, solar hot
water, and both water and electric saving devices all combine to
be sensible for the environment and cost saving for our business
and our “Big Planet”..

We think you’ll find our world not only tastes great but is also entertaining. Big Planet Pizza Pub surrounds you with objects from the early 1900’s, all recycled from an era when American industry was the envy of the world.
During the building of Big Planet we attempted to use recycled materials whenever possible and following are a few of the more interesting examples:
The old metal corrugated ceiling was salvaged from a farm shed on Pioneer Trail in New Smyrna.
The window between the dining room and bar came from a New England woolen mill.
The booths were recycled and recovered from another restaurant.
The curved wooden walls are constructed of porch planks acquired from an old New Smyrna home located on Washington Street just prior to demolition.
The two cast iron columns in the bar are from a civil war era Yankee estate.
